Our fantastic team!

Rachel has extensive school leadership experience prior to becoming the founding CEO of SFAT. She is committed to providing high quality education for all children and has led in a range of Church and Community schools. She has a master’s degree in child psychology; a degree in music; NPQH and Executive Leadership qualifications. As a system leader and NLE, she has supported schools and trusts across the South West region. Rachel is a passionate musician and enjoys playing the cello.

Guy has over a decade of leadership experience in Church and Community schools as Headteacher and Executive Leader, including as Teaching School Lead. He supports a wide range of organisations with Strategic Board positions for Diocese of Gloucester, Odyssey Teaching School Hub and Glow Maths Hub. Guy was part of the group that formed the Severn Federation Academy Trust in 2021 and passionately believes in all children flourishing and living life in all its fulness. When time allows Guy can be found with his family exploring the mountains of the UK.

Carol has AAT pay and pensions management; IOSH Health and Safety; Business Management qualifications. She has worked as CFO in School Trusts for over decade working in a SAT prior to joining the Severn Federation Academy Trust in 2022. Carol leads a finance and personnel team as well as our network of school administrators. In her spare time, she is a motorsport enthusiast taking part in Targa rallies and is currently the Safeguarding Officer for Ross and District Motor Club.

Bev has worked with schools within the Trust for over 20 years and has an exceptional knowledge of the communities we serve. She works with our headteachers to enhance the built environment and estates. When not working, Bev enjoys spending time with her family.

Lesley works with our schools to ensure all aspects of procurement achieve best value for our children. She has many years experience as a school administrator. In her spare time she enjoys running, reading and travel.

We look forward to welcoming Felicity to our central team in January. She has a wealth of experience with a range of national recruitment companies and is looking forward to working in the education sector. She also enjoys ballet teaches children ballet in her spare time.

Lucy is an incredible professional with many years experience as SENDCo and Inclusion lead. She passionately believes in every child getting the support they need to flourish and fulfil their potential. Lucy leads a team of SENDCos and a pastoral team that are there to support our pupils with whatever they need.

Gary works with our teams across the school to ensure our sites are safe, secure and welcoming! No job is too small and Gary is always there to help out.
